Cowboy, Jeans, Truck, Home on the Range
DAVID 453
A seldom heard verse to "Home On The Range" by Brewster Higley (1876)
How often at night, when the heavens were bright,
With the light of the twinkling stars,
Have I stood here amazed, and I've asked as I've gazed,
If their glory exceeds that of yours.
Home, home on the range,
Where the deer and the antelope play,
Where seldom is heard, a discouraging word,
And the sky is not cloudy all day.
