DAVID 349

You know, there is a never-ending and sometimes quite heated discussion at various sites (like DAZ for instance) about the lack of clothes for the male Poser figures. It's true. Compared to the ladies, the wardrobe for the gents is miserably small. If the figure is exceptionally shaped like our prime specimen here, the array of clothing that will fit is even smaller.

But that just means that you have to think outside the box and be more creative. For instance, David's polo shirt here. There is no polo shirt for any of the millenium male figures, and if there is one that I'm not aware of, it most assuredly will not have the morphs to fit David to a T. What then is he wearing in this image? Here's the recipe:

David3492 armbands

1 custom made armband bump map

1 Michael 2 morphing full bodysuit

1 custom made transparency map for Michael 2's morphing full bodysuit

1 custom made fabric bump map

1 collar from the Poser 4 man's polo shirt

1 custom made bump map for the polo shirt collar

1 custom texture map for the polo shirt

1 bottle of brandy

1. Conform bodysuit to figure.

2. Morph bodysuit to fit figure like a second skin. (This is where the brandy comes in. Tranquilizers and a brick wall to beat your head against are handy too.)

3. Construct a custom made transparency map to make bodysuit arms and collar area of chest transparent.

4. Extract collar from the Poser 4 man's polo shirt using Poser's grouping tool.

5. Save polo shirt collar as prop.

6. Apply arm band props. Scale and move into position. Parent to figure's shoulders.

7. Apply polo shirt collar. Scale and move into postion. Parent to figure's chest.

8. Apply bump map to armbands. Adjust size and orientation.

9. Appl.y bump map to collar. Adjust size and orientation.

10. Apply fabric bump map to bodysuit. Adjust size and orientation.

11. Adjust color for collar, armbands, and polo shirt (bodysuit).

12. Apply custom made texture map to polo shirt.

13. Make depth and folds in fabric by.......oh now wait. I can't tell you everything! In fact, I might have left one or two very important details out. But consider this little tell all the first and last one for this decade. But you see what I mean. With a little imagination, he can wear anything. Though of course, I like it when he wears nothing at all.

You should see his pants from the back! Want to know how the pants are made? I bet you do!
