It is not widely known that, for a few weeks in December, David gives seminars at Santa's gym (a recent demand in the elves' union contract). Santa would have asked Superman, since his Fortress of Solitude is just down the road, but, well...he's hardly ever there, and he doesn't return calls. Besides, I think David is the next best thing.
The uh, "uniform" was David's idea.
