DAVID 317
All professional models (although some of us didn't exactly mean to become professional models) have something called a composite card, sometimes known as a "comp" card or ZED card. This is what is submitted to all agencies and prospective clients as a sort of visual business card. It's either a two sided card, or a four sided folding card. The front is almost always a headshot, specifically a "wow" headshot, one that will place you head and shoulders above the crowd, although some of us are already literally head and shoulders above the crowd. The inside should show major highlights of your work, but most of all, your versatility and the ease with which you can assume different looks, although some of us have one look that's so spectacular no one cares much about versatility. Agencies and prospective clients sort through hundreds and hundreds of comp cards looking for that perfect face or that perfect body that will make a fantasy seem real, although some of us don't have to try at all to be a fantasy...really. A good comp card is an investment that will open many doors, although some of us have prospective clients beating at their door. A good comp card will help you stand apart from the competition, although some of us have no competition.
